⚖️ Naming policy – restricted / illegal terms
‼️TRABİS and the Turkish authorities maintain internal lists of domain names that are prohibited (TAKAL) or highly restricted (TAKİL). The examples below are based on Turkish domain and content rules and are intended as guidance. They do not represent a complete or official list of banned terms. Final decisions are always made by TRABİS/BTK and the competent authorities.

For borderline cases, advise the registrant to choose a neutral name that does not include explicit religious, substance-related or adult keywords, or terms that could be interpreted as official, national, emergency or otherwise highly sensitive. Be aware that TRABİS/BTK and other authorities always have the final say on whether a name can be registered or kept active.
