Update Premium DNS-zone records
Login to the portal and go to DNS > Zones
To update DNS-records for a Premium DNS-zone in your Realtime Register account, follow the instruction below.

- To update an existing Premium DNS-zone, Lookup the Premium DNS-zone you need to update and open it and click Update
Important
Slave zones cannot be updated unless they're first converted to a master zone and stop synchronizing with the hidden master Nameserver. The update option for a slave zone is not available in the actions menu for this reason. - Make the changes in the SOA/DNS-records as required and click update
Important
You have two options to change the records of a Premium DNS-zone. You can either add records or remove/update existing records as required with the records option, or you can opt to replace all existing records with by replacing all active records in the zone with a DNS-template.
Records option
Update the SOA-record if required and add/remove or update DNS-records as required by clicking + Add record/The X icon and select and configure the DNS-records manually. For instructions on how to configure the SOA-record and format DNS-records in our portal in order to add/update/ them, click on any of the corresponding records in the table below the image to navigate to the KB-article with specific instructions per SOA/DNS-record

Template option
Select a DNS-template to use that fills the DNS-zone with it's contents
Important
In case you do not have a DNS-template ready to use in the Premium DNS-zone update, you should create one first. For instructions on how to create a DNS-template, go to the Create DNS-template knowledge base article
