Zones

The DNS-zones overview page displays all DNS-zones in your Realtime Register account. DNS-zones are used at domain level to configure DNS records using either the Basic DNS or Premium DNS service.

Basic DNS is provided through our in-house, free-to-use nameservers (ns1.yoursrs.com and ns2.yoursrs.com). Premium DNS is provided through RcodeZero on our Premium DNS service nameserver hostnames (ns1.premiumdns.zone & ns2.premiumdns.zone) or custom Vanity nameserver hostnames. You can create DNS-zones for domains registered in your Realtime Register account (Basic or Premium DNS), as well as for external domains (Premium DNS only). Below, the overview page and available actions are explained.

1: Specify a DNS-zone in the search field. This searches the complete DNS-zone database within your account.

2: Click the DNS-zone in the results list to open the detail page.

DNS-zones fall into two categories: Basic DNS (free, managed domains only) and Premium DNS (paid, available for managed and unmanaged domains).
