Delete a Premium DNS-zone

Login to the portal and go to DNS > Zones

Lookup the Premium DNS-zone you wish to delete and click on it to open the Premium DNS-zone detail page.

To delete the zone, you'll need to click the delete button. Take note that some zones do not have a delete button available on the zone detail page. These are managed master zones. In case you do not have an option to delete a zone on the zone detail page, refer to the information in the important section below. Otherwise, click Delete next to the delete zone option to delete the zone and confirm the delete by clicking delete again on the confirmation tile

Important

Managed master zones cannot be deleted unless their first decoupled from the domain their connected to. To decouple a master zone from a domain, navigate to the domain overview page for the domain the master zone is connected to and decouple the master zone from the domain.

A message indicating the zone has been deleted successfully will be displayed
