Branding
Login to the portal and go to Account > Branding
The Branding overview page displays your default brand when only one brand exists in your account, or lists all available brands in your Realtime Register account. Brands define the company branding used in branded emails and web templates that registries require us to send or display to registrants.
This article explains how to review and manage brand configuration in the Portal, including updating brand contact details and customising branding templates. Select any brand in the list to open the brand detail page where you can manage brand contact information and configure email and web templates.
📧 Brand email templates overview
Below is an overview of the available brand email templates, including when and why these emails are sent to registrants by our systems.

Email header template to customise for brand recognition. Used in every email sent by our system to your customers. |
| Email footer |
Email footer template to customise for brand recognition. Used in every email sent by our system to your customers. |
| Expired email |
Expired email sent to registrants upon domain expiration. Used to inform registrants their domain has expired. |
| 7 day expiration email |
Expiry reminder for registrant 7 days in advance of expiry date. Used when a domain reaches a 7 day window in advance of the expiry date. |
| 30 day expiration email and WDRP |
Expiry reminder for registrant 30 days in advance of expiry date. Used when a domain reaches a 30 day window in advance of the expiry date. If possible/required, the 30 day expiration email and WDRP-email are combined into one email to reduce the amount of emails sent to registrants. |
| Whois data accuracy reminder email (WDRP) |
Data accuracy reminder for registrants. Sent every year to registrants approximately 25 days in advance of expiry date/original created date to keep registrant contact details up to date. |
| Change of registrant notification (old) |
Email to notify the current registrant about a registrant change. Sent when required by registry policy for registrant changes. |

Email to notify the new registrant about a registrant change. Sent when required by registry policy for registrant changes.

| Outgoing transfer privacy protect contact reminder email |
Email sent to registrant when a transfer out on our privacy proxy contact is performed. Contains a reminder to update the domain to a new privacy proxy contact with the new registrar or the actual registrant contact details. |
| Contact validation |
Email sent to contacts to verify contact details. Used whenever contact validation is required by a registry. |
| Brand confirmation |
Email sent to brand email address upon brand creation/updates. Used to confirm brand creation/updates by authorised contact. |
| Update contact approval (current) |
Email sent for approving contact updates/material changes to the current registrant. Used to confirm material changes by the current registrant. |
| Update contact approval (new) |
Email sent for approving contact updates/material changes to the new registrant. Used to confirm material changes by the current registrant.

| Update domain approval (current) |
Email sent to confirm domain updates by the current registrant. Sent when required by registry policy for domain updates that include a material change for example. |

| Incoming transfer approval (current) |
Email sent to current registrant to approve transfer, also known as FOA(Form Of Authorisation). Sent when required by registry policy for domain transfers. |
| Incoming transfer approval (new) |
Email sent to new registrant to approve transfer, also known as FOA(Form Of Authorisation). Sent when required by registry policy for domain transfers. |
| Outgoing transfer approval |
Email sent to current registrant to approve outgoing transfer to to other registrar, also known as FOA(Form Of Authorisation). Sent when required by registry policy for domain transfers. |
| Internal transfer approval (current) |
Email sent to current registrant to approve internal transfer between Realtime Register resellers, also known as FOA(Form Of Authorisation). Always sent when transferring domains between resellers accounts. |
| Internal transfer approval (new) |
Email sent to new registrant to approve internal transfer between Realtime Register resellers, also known as FOA(Form Of Authorisation). Always sent when transferring domains between resellers accounts.

| Incoming transfer token request |
Email sent to registrant when registry sends authcode to registrant email address. Sent to current registrant email address when required by registry policy. |
| TMCH Claim acknowledgement |
Email sent to registrant when THCH trademark needs to be confirmed by the registrant. |
| TMCH Claim acknowledgement and contact validation |
Email sent to registrant when THCH trademark needs to be confirmed by the registrant combined with contact validation approval. |
| Update domain instructions |
Email sent to registrant to with instructions on how to complete a domain update when special registry requirements are required for update approval. |
| Clearance Domain Registrant |
Email sent to registrant email address to approve registry terms and conditions required for domain creation. |
