Delete a Basic DNS-zone

1: Lookup the Basic DNS-zone you wish to delete and click on it to open the Basic DNS-zone detail page.

2: To delete basic a DNS zone, you'll need to decouple the zone from all domains in your account. To do so simply update all the domains in your Realtime Register account that use the DNS-zone to other nameservers or another DNS-zone, and the Basic DNS-zone will receive a Pending delete status once this has been done. For more information on updating domains through our portal, go to the Update domain(s) knowledge base article.

3: You've now successfully scheduled a Basic DNS-zone for deletion through our portal. The deletion timeframe is 7 days. In case you wish to undo the deletion, simply connect the zone to an active domain and the zone deltion will be un-scheduled.
