Customize the update domain instructions email
Login to the portal and go to Account > Branding

The update domain instructions email is sent to the registrant to provide instructions on how to complete a requested update for a domain. Currently, this email template is only used by Ficora, the registry managing .FI domains.

To customize the update domain instructions email through the portal, follow the steps below.

None of the default text in this email can be changed. Registry policies require registrants to receive a fixed set of information in the update domain instructions email.
Advice on email content
Since the default content cannot be modified, it is recommended to add explanatory text alongside the default text provided by our branding system. In this explanatory text, describe why the update domain instructions email is sent to the registrant. The explanatory text may differ from the language configured in the brand settings.

- Select the brand you wish to make changes for and open the update domain instructions email template by clicking on the edit button.

- On the update domain instructions email template detail page, select the registry you wish to customize the template for. Currently, only Ficora for .FI domains is available. Once selected, you will be directed to the relevant template customization page.

The emails are available as both text-only and HTML email. If you want recipients to receive text-only email, keep the HTML version empty. If you want to communicate using HTML email, complete both the text version and the HTML version.

- The update preview button allows you to preview the submitted changes to the update domain instructions email template on the right side of the screen.

- Once you have made all required changes, click update template to save the update domain instructions email template. A confirmation message will be displayed when the update has completed.
