Customize the brand confirmation email

The brand confirmation emails are for giving explicit consent to use a newly created brand/confirm a brand update within your account and can provide a preview of the look of the brand. The brand confirmation email contains a link that links to the brand confirmation web page on which approval to create new brands/brand update confirmation can be given.

For instructions on customizing the brand confirmation email through our portal, follow the steps below;

Important

Customizing full text restricted

You'll notice that none of the default text in the email can be changed. The brand confirmation email consists of a fixed set of information that cannot be changed.

Advice on email content

Since no customization to the default texts is possible, add an explanatory text in addition to the default texts provided by our branding system. In the explanatory text, provide information about why the brand confirmation email is received by the brand owner. The explanatory text may differ to the language set in the brand settings.

Select the brand you wish to make changes for and open the brand confirmation email template by clicking on the edit button

On the brand confirmation email template detail page, you can apply customization as required

Important

The emails are available as both text-only and HTML email.

If you want to have your registrants informed with text-only email, you will have to keep the HTML version empty. However, if you want to communicate with HTML emails, please fill both the text version content as well as the HTML version.

The brand confirmation email template default information cannot be changed. Add explanatory text in addition to the default texts provided by our branding systems. In the explanatory text, provide information about why the brand confirmation email is received by the brand owner

The update preview button allows you to preview the submitted changes to the brand confirmation email template on the right side of the screen

To add an image to the brand confirmation email, go to the Add images to email templates knowledge base article

Once you've made all the necessary changes, click update template to update the brand confirmation email template. A message indicating the update has been completed will be displayed
