Customize the 7 day expiration email

Login to the portal and go to Account > Branding

ℹ️ Note
The 7-day expiration (ERRP) email is sent to registrants 7 days before a domain expires. By default, the minimum text and required variables are already entered.

To customize the 7-day expiration email through the portal, follow the steps below.

⚠️ Important
It is advised to leave the content of the 7-day expiration email as unchanged as possible. Preferably, add explanatory text alongside the default text provided by our branding system explaining your company's renewal policy.

Select the brand you want to update and open the 7-day expiration email template by clicking the edit button.

On the 7-day expiration email template detail page, you can apply the required customizations.
⚠️ Important
The emails are available as both text-only and HTML email. If you want your registrants to receive text-only email, keep the HTML version empty. If you want to communicate using HTML email, fill in both the text version and the HTML version.

By default, the minimum text and required variables for this email template are already entered. Add your brand’s renewal policy for customers and adjust the text to your preference.

The update preview button allows you to preview the submitted changes to the 7-day expiration email template on the right side of the screen.

Once you have made all required changes, click update template to save the 7-day expiration email template. A confirmation message will be displayed when the update has completed.

You have now successfully customized the 7-day expiration email.
