Delete domain(s)
To delete domains in your Realtime Register account manually, follow the instruction below.
Delete a single domain |
Bulk delete multiple domains |
Delete a single domain
Login to the portal and go to Domains > Domains
- 1
- Lookup the domain you wish to delete
- 2
- Click the delete button on the domain detail page
- 3
- Click the Delete button to delete the domain
Important
The auto renew grace period, if the TLD you're deleting supports it, is not applied since the auto renew grace period does not apply to explicitly deleted domains. Deleting a domain manually forces the Redemption Grace period, in case the domain needs to be renewed after an explicit delete, restore costs will be charged by the managing registry to re-activate the domain.
- 4
- A message indicating the request for deleting the domain was successfully received will be displayed. You've now successfully requested the delete of a single domain through our portal.
Important
The delete will be completed once the domain has run through it's complete life cycle. For the periods applied for the various TLD's we offer, you can check our TLD-metadata
- 5
- You can check the pending deletes in the Domain Manager. Navigate to the Domains dashboard and click the pending deletions tile. An overview of all pending deletions in your account will be displayed
- 6
- You'll notice that all domain delete actions in this overview hold the Suspended status. This means that the delete is pending with the registry and will be completed once the domain has run through it's complete life cycle.
Important
There's no option to speed up the delete process. Domains will be deleted once they've run through their complete lifecycle. More information on the lifecycle of a TLD can be found in our TLD-metadata
