Finance Dashboard

Login the Domain Manager and go to Finance Dashboard

The finance dashboard page provides all the information you'll need to keep your account's balance in check and obtain information invoices and transactions.

On the finance Dashboard you'll be able to make a deposit onto your account's balance, check or request the option to maintain a negative balance for renewals, check your latest transactions or download your invoices. We'll go over the different options one by one below.

Watermarks

Take note: It's imperative that you setup watermarks for your Realtime Register account. The watermarks you setup will trigger an email informing you your account balance has reached a certain level. You can customize where the watermark emails are sent by setting up a WatermarkReachedEvent notification rule for it.

  • To configure the watermarks for your account, click the 'update'  button behind the balance you wish to configure the watermarks for.

  • Define the watermarks for which you wish to get notified and click save
  • You've now successfully setup watermarks in your Realtime Register account.

Deposit

To make a deposit, follow the instruction below.

  • Click the green deposit button behind the currency you wish to make a deposit in (EUR or USD).

Take note: In case you're making your first deposit, you can choose the currency you wish to deposit in. Once chosen, this will be your account's main currency. 

  • Once you've chosen the currency you wish to make a deposit for, you'll be directed to the page below. The amount that is pre-filled in the deposit amount field is mirrored to the amount of your last deposit if applicable.

Take note: This to ensure that in case you're in a price slab based on the height of your deposit, your prices will not change in case you make a lower deposit by accident.

  • Select the currency you wish to pay your invoice in. For instance, you could choose to top up your EUR balance and make a payment in USD.

  • Select a payment method, in the example below we choose a bank transfer

  • Double check the payment quote and click "Pay now"

  • The payment has now been successfully requested. Transfer the amount detailed on the invoice to our bank account and your balance will be topped up accordingly. In case you chose another payment method, complete the payment through the payment gateway you're directed to and depending on your payment method the amount will be added to your account balance when received and confirmed. To download the invoice, click the download button detailed in red or download it through the payment detail page.

  • You've now successfully made a deposit into your Realtime Register account.

If you use a credit card, ensure you turn off any ad blockers. Most credit card suppliers enforce the 3D-Secure popup now which you will need to complete before your payment is approved.


Negative Balance

In some cases, we provide a credit limit on your Realtime Register account. You can request a credit limit for renewal as protection against expiration of domains in case of insufficient balance. A markup is charged only for transactions in negative balance, there are no up front costs. To request negative balance for your account, follow the procedure below.

  • Click 'Request' in the finance dashboard.

  • Read the terms and conditions carefully, submit the amount you wish to apply for and click 'Next'

Take note: The amount of credit may not exceed the value of 50% of the highest single deposit in the last twelve months.

  • You'll be prompted to send an email containing default text to our support department to request negative balance on your Realtime Register account. Once your request has been approved or any additional information is necessary, You'll receive a reply with information from our support department. Once granted your negative balance will show in the finance dashboard as indicated on the image below.

  • You've now successfully added negative balance for renewals to your Realtime Register account.

Transactions

  • For an overview of all your completed account transactions, you can view the transactions overview page by clicking the transactions button on the finance dashboard.

  • Use the filters in case you wish to search for specific transactions. For an overall search of all the fields you can use the search bar.

  • Once you found and opened the transaction you were looking for, detailed information will given concerning the transaction on the transaction detail page as in the example below.


Invoices

  • For an overview of all your invoices, you can view the invoice overview page by clicking on the 'All invoices' button on the finance dashboard

  • Use the filters to search for any specific invoices. For an overall search of all the fields you can use the search bar.

  • Once you've found the invoice you're looking for you can open it by clicking on it. The invoice detail page will be shown. To download an invoice, click the download button and the invoice will be prompted for download
