Anyone who's used the Domain Manager knows them, statuses like 'client transfer prohibited' or even 'server_hold' of 'server transfer prohibited'. But what exactly do all the available statuses mean? Continue reading below and find out!

First off, there are three categories for statuses which can be set by the reseller, Realtime Register or the managing Registry;

  • The Client category; Statuses applied by the Reseller(You);
  • The Registrar category; Statuses applied by the Registrar (Us);'
  • And the Server category; Statuses applied by the managing registry.

The client category

All statuses in the client category can be activated/deactivated by the Reseller.

Want to remove client statuses? Login to your account and update the domain to the desired status. For in depth information on updating domains, visit the update a single domain Knowledge Base article.
