Add Properties

  • Fill out the data as requested and applicable for the registrant and and click save properties when you're done.
  1. Birthdate of the technical contact (TECH-BIRTH-DATE); Submit the technical contact birthdate
  2. Company reg. number (COMPANY-NUMBER); Submit the Company registration number
  3. ID card no. (IDCARD-OR-PASSPORT-NUMBER); Submit the ID/Passport number belonging to the registrant (Only in case of creates/transfers based on a natural person as registrant)
  4. Birthdate of the administrative contact (ADMIN-BIRTH-DATE); Submit the birth date of the administrative contact
  5. Registrant's birthdate (BIRTH-DATE); Submit the birth date of the registrant (Only in case of creates/transfers based on a natural person as registrant)
  6. Id card number of the technical contact (TECH-IDCARD-OR-PASSPORT-NUMBER); Submit the ID-card/Passport number of the technical contact

Register

To create a .EE domain, follow the procedure below:

  • Create a contact handle, or search for a contact handle already created with valid data to use for the create. For a detailed description of how to create a contact handle, check the contacts knowledgebase article.
  • Add additional properties for .EE to the registrant contact.
  • Use the availability checker to determine if the domain is available. If the domain is available, select it to register using the green 'Select to register button' and confirm with the 'Register selected domains' button.
  • Submit the details you wish to use for registration. For in-depth support on the registration process, check the register domain(s) knowledgebase article.

Take note; For .EE creates Identity documents need to approved by the registry to complete the create.

  • Once the create has been requested, our support department will get in touch trough email to request the documents required to confirm registrant identity. Once the documents provided and approved by the registry, the create will be completed.

Transfer in

To transfer in a .EE domain, follow the procedure below:

  • Create a contact, or search for a contact already created with valid data to use for the transfer. For a detailed description of how to create a contact, check the contacts knowledgebase article.
  • Add additional properties for .EE to the registrant contact.
  • Make sure you're in possession of a valid authcode and request the transfer through the Domain Manager. For instruction on how to request a transfer through the Domain Manager, check the initiate transfer knowledgebase article.
  • The transfer will complete real-time if the authcode is correct.

Take note: In case of a trade during the transfer, the trade will be completed after the transfer has been completed. Support will get in touch with the relevant procedure to complete the trade.


Trade

To change the registrant for a .EE domain, follow the procedure below:

  • Create a contact, or search for a contact already created with valid data to use for the registrant change. For a detailed description of how to create a contact, check the contacts knowledgebase article.
  • Add additional properties for .EE to the registrant contact.
  • Update the domain to the new registrant contact. For a detailed description of how to update domains through the Domain Manager, check the update a single domain knowledgebase article.
  • Once you've saved the changes in the domain update, the trade will be requested with the registry. The current and new registrant will have to approve the trade through email. Once this has been done the trade will be completed.

Transfer out

To transfer out a .EE domain you're going to need an authcode;

  • To obtain the authcode through the Domain Manager, login and go to 'Domains'. Lookup the domain you want to retreive the authcode for.

  • Provide the authcode to the registrant and have him/her request the transfer with the new registrar.
